 After Bigg Boss concluded, Salman is now devoting his full time to upcoming projects. He is currently busy shooting Apoorva Lakhia's film "Battle of Galwan," which will feature Chitrangada Singh in the lead role for the first time.


After this film, Salman Khan has several major projects lined up, including "Kick 2," the sequel to his 388 crore-grossing film "Kick," which he announced on the set of Bigg Boss. Now, according to recent reports, Jacqueline Fernandez has been dropped from the film, and a new actress has replaced her in the successful film.

According to Box Office Worldwide reports, producer Sajid Nadiadwala is expected to officially announce Kick 2 on Salman Khan's birthday, December 27, 2025. Kriti Sanon is expected to replace Jacqueline Fernandez opposite Salman Khan in the movie. However, the makers have yet to make any official announcement regarding the actress's replacement.


Kriti Sanon isn't the only new addition to the Kick 2 team, but reports suggest that Malayalam cinema superstar Unni Mukundan will also play the villain in the film. Unni shared a post with Sajid Nadiadwala, captioning it, "The kick starts with the man," sparking speculation that he would be a part of the film.


Kick did good business at the box office in 2014.

Salman Khan's 2014 film "Kick" was a major box office hit. The film grossed ₹231.85 crore at the domestic box office and ₹388 crore worldwide.


In addition to Salman Khan and Jacqueline, the film also starred Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Randeep Hooda, and Archana Puran Singh. Reports suggest that Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala, who are returning with a sequel to the blockbuster film after 10 years, are planning to release "Kick 2" on Eid in 2027.
